Basic Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of BS Electrical Engineer.At least 3-5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying.Must know the following: ACAD or any estimating software, QTO and estimates, tendering, e
valuation, and processing of contractor’s progress billing and variation orders, final account, and co
ntract administration.Good oral and written communication skills.Willing to be assigned at Laguna. To start immediately.
The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the following:
Responsible for preparing realistic, adaptable, and accurate cost estimates based on detailed plans and specifications.
Conduct quantity take-off and estimate on the various stages of the project but not limited to Contract Design Estimate, Definitive Office Estimate; and Detailed Bill of Quantities.
Assists in the preparation of realistic, adaptable, and accurate cost estimates based on schematic and development design stages of the projects.
Prepares cost studies and cost analysis for the electrical and auxiliary works.
Assists in preparing electrical and auxiliary reports submitted to clients, including but not limited to, project initial design and cost budgets, bid recommendation report, and variation order evaluation.
Assists in the preparation of needed documents in any project meetings.
Assists in preparing electrical and auxiliary bid packages and other bid documents needed in the bidding process.
Ensures that all relevant Work Instructions and the organization’s Quality Management System is being followed in the preparation of all works being undertaken.
Ensures that all deliverables and submissions are being checked and reviewed by the concerned department heads prior to release.
Works collaboratively with colleagues and other trades to ensure the highest standards of services to clients.
Attends team meetings and contributes relevant ideas.
Upholds standards by adhering to all company policies and procedures.
Exemplifies qualities that would encourage staff loyalty, teamwork and dedication to the organization.
Any other work or tasks as directed by the Senior Quantity Surveyor/Assistant Quantity Surveying Manager-EE.
