Overall Purpose:

The Instructional Design Specialist is in charge of developing appropriate assessment framework and ensure quality tools creation, assessments delivery and maintenance of all approved assets. He/she works with the stakeholders to conduct data collection, validation, assembly, presentation and development of appropriate hiring strategy. He/she is the main point of contact for all talent identification programs and activities. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

As part of the training team, one is accountable for the following: 

Learning Assessments and Analysis

Liaises with business partners to ensure proper scoping of business problems and prioritiesManage data collection, data quality, data repository and assessments modelingManage the availability, usability, integrity and security of the data in enterprise systems, based on internal data standards and policiesSelect tool and method based on analytics problem framingAssemble data and generate appropriate business insights and recommendations Present data stories to the business expertsCreate the standards and policies for governing data, as well as implementation and enforcement procedures that are primarily carried out by the data processorsCreate a culture of data integration in talent identification processes

Design and Development of Assessments using appropriate delivery methods

Analysis of competency and knowledge requirements to design an effective assessment modelParticipate in reviews and feedback sessions with stakeholders to apply recommendationsConduct research, extensive fact checking and validation to support accuracy of information to be added in contentDesigning content outline and storyboards, applying appropriate multimedia methodologies considering scalability, delivery requirements and limitationsDevelop assessment assets such as slides, simulators, handouts, and evaluation guides Revision of existing assessments based on changes to requirementsWorking with the technical team in the publishing of materials in the learning platformsAssess course development timelines and efforts and communicate with stakeholders

Project Management 

Implementing content development process, assessing development timelines and setting estimated delivery times 

Validation and Quality Review of Content Development Process

Devise quality standards to ensure output is aligned to expectations and design principlesFacilitate beta testing of digital assetsEstablish controls and source checking and validation process to ensure that content development and publication and information accuracy does not deviate from organizational policies.Employing development standards and process for own content output

PROCESSES

Review, Control, Improve and Implement the following training processes:

Training Needs Assessment

Facilitate analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of the needs assessment initiative

Alignment and Management

Manage the interaction between the Training team, business partners, and program participants

Design /Development 

Design and develop training and development solutions particularly on functional skill areas

Training Levels of evaluation

Implement the 4 levels of training evaluation in the end to end training process. 

Qualifications:

Graduate of Bachelor's degreeMust have at least 2 years of working experience in Contact Center TrainingMust have at least 2 years of working experience in Content Management and Content DevelopmentMust have at least 1 year working experience in eLearning DevelopmentKnowledgeable in MS Office products, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skillsProficient in report writing, business correspondence
