- Review and approve drawings, in compliance with design drawings, project and equipment specifications.
- Review plans, errors in the drawings, catalogues, as built drawing and method statements for approval conforming to project and equipment specifications.
- Ensure that all requirements for design input, variations, changes and other information are implemented.
- Reconcile plans, designs and costing of all civil / structural works and their variations.
- Review, approve and process all technical submittals and sample for compliance to the project specification and / or rated capacities of all civil / structural works.
- Conduct testing and commissioning of all civil works and structures.
- Formulate and implement preventive maintenance programs to all civil / structural works.
- Monitor and validate preventive maintenance conducted by the internal and external contractors.
- Recommends and initiates improvements on existing civil plans geared towards an improved facility and effective customer service.
- Ensure that cost on improvements is reasonable and beneficial.
- Perform monitoring, modification and troubleshooting to all civil / structural works.
- Responsible for overseeing maintenance activities and other facility related works.
- Ensuring the smooth functioning of all civil / structural works.
- Conducting punch lists, checks, inspections, and detecting any discrepancies and / or revisions.
- Reporting / detecting faults and discrepancies and submitting reports to the supervising authority.
- Verify revisions made on plans.
- Formulation of policies that will enhance current procedures.
- Keeping a proper record of revisions and all related works.
- Ability to coordinate work related activities with other departments of the organization
