Qualification:
- Must be licensed Civil Engineer with at least 5 years working experience in construction industry.
- Must have at least 3 years working experience in structural design.
- Knowledgeable in the use of computer design softwares, i.e Staad, Etabs, AutoCAD, etc.
- Have knowledge in local & international codes and standards such as NSCP, ACI, IBC, ASCE, AISC, ASTM & BS Codes.
- Can work with less supervision, flexible and handles pressure well.
- Possesses an outstanding track records.
Job Description:
- Prepares structural design and calculation and other requirements for the Company Projects in compliance with Company process and client objectives.
- Handles technical design works, design review in line with the requirements of the Company
- Proficient in detailed structural calculation and drawings preparation such as shop drawings, construction methodologies, inspection test procedures, cutting list, etc.
- Conducts design review, value engineering and coordination of submitted design from outsourced designers.
- Performs site inspection prior to structural design to ensure that work will be in accordance with the site conditions and specifications of the client.
- Attends design coordination meetings and pre-bid conferences and ensure possible queries will be addressed prior to preparation of bids.
- Collaborate with other disciplines i.e. Project Architect / Designer, Electrical, MEP to determine the structural requirement for each project (including permit documents)
- Prepare and constantly review plans, construction drawings and specifications before actual construction begins.
