The Manila Studio’s core business is the provision of design support & documentation services, including Revit, to its international studios located in China, HK & MENA. Hence, the Studio Manager must have had significant exposure to the QA/QC standards of international architectural studios and the need for timely delivery of these services. Hands-on knowledge of the following sectors will be beneficial: large scale mixed use, vertical and horizontal residential, retail and corporate commercial, interiors, institutional, and master planning projects.
The Studio will also provide architectural design services, as foreign architect, to the Philippines/Regional market; hence experience and skillsets in design management & business development are required.
The core skills needed from the Studio Manager are transformational leadership, general office management, budget management, quality and time control management, design management, client-facing skills, knowledge of IT, knowledge of relevant corporate and employment related laws, and business development.
The Studio Manager will report directly to the Director located in HK.
Requirements:
At least 6 years’ experience as a studio manager, preferably for a branch office to an internatio

Responsibilities
Provide transparent and objective business management with maintained l
inks and collaboration with Senior Management in Hong Kong.Implement and develop policies ba
sed upon HQ precedents or best practices.Provide overall QA/QC management with sufficient understanding of KPI’s for front-end and back-end services in order to achieve high value and on-time services from employees.Act as authorized signatory or co-signatory to studio's bank account, governmental, and corporate undertakingsPromote balanced budget management by leading the budget preparation and analysis.Good working knowledge of local codes and how they affect the studioEndorse escalations of issues to HQ after exhausting all legal and practical mitigations at internal or Studio level.Review technical requirements and alternatives for CAPEX and OPEX items.Review and analyze the performance of assets and human resources.Occasio
