JOB SUMMARY:
Manages and coordinates overall planning and execution of training and development programs, courses and activities, ad engages with the executives to improve employee productivity and ensure attainment of organizational objectives.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Conducts need analysis and research relative to new training and staff development programs for department applications; conducts periodic needs assessment surveys to determine need for scope of programs at all employee levels.
2. Confers with division/department heads regarding the performance-based objectives by identifying work situations that may require preventive or remedial training for employees and determining contributory value of training and development programs in attaining these objectives.
3. Develops and facilitates training programs through professional and technical input, research and evaluation of relevant and topical material, and the development of curriculum design.
4. Facilitates management and staff development through the use of organizational development techniques such as action research, process consultation, team building, and problem solving.
5. Develops Comprehensive Training Plan based on a training analysis or needs assessment.
6. Review, analyzes, and evaluates the overall training and development programs within the framework of the Comprehensive Training Plan.
7. Reviews employee classifications including knowledge, skills and abilities and ensures that the training plan meets the technical and supervisory needs of the department and are aligned with the department's strategic plan, and mission statement.
8. documents all technical and soft training programs that it is provided to all departments/stations.
9. Plans, develops, and recommends training policies and procedures in conformance with the Comprehensive Training Plan.
10. Perform related task as may be required.
JOB SPECIFICATION:
· Graduate of Mass Communication or Industrial Psychology specializing in Training and OD
· With at least 7 years related experience
· Could work with minimum supervision
