Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Key duties & responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
PROJECT COMPETENCIES
• Primary role is to support the project team using a wide range of developing professional skills. Duties and tasks are likely to be varied but may also be basic and repetitive as project demands require. Will be self-motivated and focused and will refer all issues to higher levels for guidance. Develops a growing understanding of the requirements to complete the project through all required phases.
• Duties may include CAD modeling and strong drafting skills, conducting research and data collection for the project, and general preparation and production of design and construction document packages as per and based on client standards. Revises and updates, CAD models, and drawings packages as requested by others.
• Can be expected to work on multiple projects, providing concepts and techniques in ways that may explore new ways of achieving design solutions, completing tasks to deadlines and effectively utilizing resources to address project requirements.
• Interacts with regional project team members and participates in project development from the design phase through to the construction phase and presents ideas clearly and persuasively.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent certification.
• Professional License in Architecture or related field.
EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 3 - 5 years of related experience.
• Range of relevant project type experience preferred.
• Experience in the preparation of design/constructions drawings and details • Proficiency in the knowledge of building material types, finishes, and construction methods.
COMPUTER SKILLS
• Proficiency in computer applications, visualization, and communication tools commonly used within own applicable disciplines, such as Revit, AutoCAD, 3D tools, SketchUp and Creative Suite or equivalent. Additional software knowledge in programs such as Grasshopper, Rhino, or 3D VR tools can provide an advantage.
