Junior Architect

QUALIFICATIONS:

The must have the ability to produce exemplary design that is sustainable, functional and safe in line with the firm's design ethos.He/she must be able to develop from concept design up to detailed construction drawings and produce necessary documents. The candidate must also have a very high interest in building and construction detailing process.He/she must posses analytical thinking and problem solving skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Understands how the design influences the construction, structure, building performance, so that practical questions can be addressed promptlyMust check compliance to local and national building and regulatory codesPrepare and present design proposals using computer-aided design (CAD), and other design software, as well as traditional drawing methodsProduce the detailed design process and coordinate design informationProduce and analyses detailed specifications for suitable materials or processes to be usedPerforms site inspections and insures the site progress is in accordance to the designCoordinates with suppliers, contractors, consultants, and ensure a smooth work process

MUST BE:

Highly skilled in AutoCAD and Sketchup.Intermediate Skills in Photoshop, Wod, and Excel.
