JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Business Partnership:Builds strong, trusted, and influential relationships with his/her stakeholders - clients, employees, Department and Division Heads, his/her People Manager and colleagues.Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation and consults with management when appropriate.Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the People Operations team to develop sound HR solutions, programs, and policies to put forward to clientsProvides guidance and input to clients on business unit structures/restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.Assesses and anticipates human resources-related needs of clients and employeesEmployee Relations, Engagement, and Retention:Provides appropriate feedback and resolution to employee concerns promptlyWorks closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.Conducts regular touch-base with employees through small group meetings, FGDs.Initiates and drives site and company-wide employee engagement, rewards, and recognitionConducts exit interviews and forwards reports to employee's Immediate Superior, Business Unit Head, and HR Head.Performance ManagementConducts, recommends, and fulfills probationary and annual performance review/management for site staffsExecutes employee movement, promotion, PPE and salary reviews and discussionProvides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).Career Management and Learning and Development:Facilitates career development goals and discussions with clients and talents.Identifies and grows future leaders and runs the required programs and training initiatives to help the leaders succeed.Identifies training needs for business units and individual training needs.Participates in the evaluation and monitoring of the success of training programs. Follows-up to ensure training objectives are met.Employee Discipline:Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Consults Corporate Lawyer/Retainer as needed/required.Enforces company guidelines and code of conduct by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.Manages and resolves end-to-end complex employee relations issues by conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations.Occupational Safety & Health (in collaboration with Facilities & Admin):Implements, maintains, and inspects health and safety standards in the workplaceProvides safety management, advice, monitoring, and reportingEngages employees in programs that ensure safe practice in the workplace and conducts training or meetings to share best practice techniquesEnsures the site’s compliance with protocols and standards set by government agencies like DOLE, PEZA, BOI, etc.Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management or related fieldsAt least 8 years of experience in HR with specific experience in the areas of HR Business Partnership, Organizational Development, and Talent Management among othersAt least 5 years' experience as a people manager, preferably with experience in managing a team of HR Business Partners.In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practicesExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
