Job Description

Academic coordinators are responsible for managing the academic administrative affairs of a school program. They commonly oversee scheduling, course planning and curriculum development. In addition to these duties, they may also be responsible for supporting processes for student admissions, support for faculty in classes or ad hoc academic related tasks, and other tasks related to student life.

Academic coordinators work closely with faculty members and administrators to ensure that all aspects of the institution’s academic programs are running smoothly.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Communicating with Registrar, Academic Heads and Faculty in enlisting, enrollment, load revisions and other related concerns.SPOC for all HR related concerns such as on-boarding, payroll, work set-up etcHandles faculty in concerns related to Google Classroom, digital badges, academic meetingAssisting in documentary requirements in audits, reports and certifications related to Academics.Assisting faculty and other stakeholders with various requests and inquiriesCreating meeting minutes for SAMC, Academic Heads, and other meetingsCreating Faculty Matrix for Deb Ed Report – Every semesterCreating Room Grid and printing to be placed per classroom and on common areas on campus – Every semesterOther tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or any related courseWith 3 years of relevant experienceTeaching experience will be an advantageOrganized and structuredKeen attention to detailsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillHighly computer literateEvent Management background is an advantageInternet Savvy-
