SUMMARY:
The Technical Trainer, Cloud is responsible for the development, coordination, and facilitation of various training initiatives across the Cloud Customer Operations team. This is an essential role within our organization that drives performance and the growth of our team. In this role, you will deliver new hire onboarding, technical skill training and expand ongoing employee skill development.
This role will facilitate hands-on technical training, mentoring, and supporting of employees and partnering with leadership to close skill gaps and elevate the performance of their teams. In addition, the trainer will be responsible for breaking down technical concepts and expressing them in a clear, meaningful way.
The successful candidate is an experienced technical trainer, ideally with experience in cloud or distributed architectures and/or virtualization technologies.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY:
Responsible for developing and executing employee technical training programs for cloud solutions. Facilitate instructor-led, virtual technical training and assessments including skill sign off for our existing and new employees up to senior technical level across all cloud solutions.Assist in developing & maintaining technical training content, lab exercises, presentations, and accompanying materials.Responsible for submitting assessment reports, training schedules, and future Cloud solutions.Creates and maintains competency programs.The Technical Trainer will need to develop internal training that is understood and meets our employees training needs.The Technical trainer will develop new training and participate in developing new processes related to employee training.QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in a relevant technical field and a minimum of 6 years’ experienceKnowledge and/or hands-on experience with Cloud infrastructure servicesStrong oral presentation skills, interpersonal communication, and writing skills.Demonstrated understanding of Cloud computing conceptsReport writing and data presentationPassion for education and ability to instruct, understanding of adult learning theoryAmenable to work on NIGHT SHIFT.
