Job Qualifications:
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's/College Degree.
Preferably 1-4 years experienced teachers.
Professional License holders are preferred.
Work Location: Loyola Heights, Quezon City, National Capital Region, Philippines
The MIIS Teacher
Subject to the limitations prescribed by law and the school policies and regulations, the duties of an employee shall include, but not limited to the following responsibilities:
Perform as a Competent and Caring Faculty Member
Demo
nstrate quality interactions with children and their families according to standards for Developmentally Appropriate Practice.Display knowledge of early childhood and general child development.Exhibit sensitivity to students' individual profiles and level of development to meet students' unique needs.
Implement Child-Oriented Curriculum and Instructional Practices

ntribute to the design and implement a dynamic, creative, age appropriate and individually appropriate curriculum that meets the goals set in terms of co
ncepts and skills in line with standards set.Plan for curriculum aligned with the MI principles and teach for understanding.Communicate expectations for learning and provide instructions to meet curricular goals.Create and use instructio
nal materials and technology to ensure coherent instruction.Assess student learning through authentic and formative assessment.
Establish Positive Communication at All Levels
Communicate with students using Positive Communication that fosters genuine co
ncern and respect.Ensure Positive Communication with parents on a regular basis to inform them of their child’s o
ngoing development and activities.Design and implement classroom parent communication systems.Orient new parents and students to classroom routine, curriculum, and communication systems.Create children’s progress reports and portfolios as well as co
nduct parent conferences.Plan and foster activities to promote a strong home-school partnership.Communicate effectively with classroom team and colleagues to foster collaboration.
Practice Effective Classroom Management and Classroom Environment
Practice effective classroom management, positive behavior management techniques and Positive Discipline in guiding the children’s behaviorEnsure the implementation of health and safety policy and procedures.Understand and carry out emergency procedures.Arrange an engaging learning enviro
nment that encourages student learning.Organize classroom schedule to allow for child initiated and teacher directed activities as well as individual and small group learning.Mo
nitor the proper use of classroom equipment and supplies and maintain classroom order and cleanliness.
