The Dean for College of Business and Accountancy will lead and supervise the Department Heads and Faculty of the College.
Dean delivers appropriately challenging and rigorous, yet simple and enjoyable projects, problems and cases; develop toward a successful graduates for College of Business and Accountancy.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Participate in coaching and mentoring the program heads and the faculty to be good at blended learning education as well as facilitating courses using projects, problems, and cases of the College
2. Providing a communication link between and among the faculty and the other levels of administration giving them opportunities to participate in department affairs;
3. evaluate the performances on a regular and continuing basis with appropriate recommendations and immediate feedback for continual improvement
4. Making informed documented recommendations concerning faculty retention, promotion, tenure and merit pay -- the outcomes of which will be intended to serve the best interest of the College as a whole
5. Ensure the best possible students learning experience through the fulfillment of the department’s commitment in respect of their admissions, instruction, progress, and learning assessments
6. Ensure that co-curricular student activities and program-led student organizations through the Department Heads receive adequate supervision
7. Supervise in the administering the operational budget of the programs under College of Business and Accountancy and ensures that the its
expenditures conform to the approved budget
8. Supervise an optimized teaching load assignments and schedules to faculty resulting to improved student seat utilization ratio prepared by the Department Heads
9. Deliver the year on year program target/goal set for freshmen intake and student retention/re-enrollment program
10. Perform all above-mentioned tasks and deliverables in hybrid arrangement.
11. Efficiently meets other related duties and tasks as assigned by the immediate superior (VPAA) or any competent authority of the institution.
