Credit and collections managers are responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of their company’s credit and collection department. They oversee a team of individuals who work to ensure that customers pay on time, resolve any issues with past due payments, and maintain good relationships with vendors.

Overseeing staff members and ensuring the accurate and timely invoicing of customers.Setting payment collection goals and targets for the department.Creating and implementing a strategy to improve the collection of outstanding credit.Implementing collection policies and procedures to avoid excessive outstanding credit.Implementing deadlines for invoicing and payment collection.Negotiating with customers in cases when non-payment occurs.Preparing monthly feedback reports on payment collections.Training and mentoring of staff members in the collections department.

Qualifications:

Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or any related fieldAt least 3-5 years as a Credit and Collection’s ManagerExperience with accounting software such as Quickbooks and General Ledger and advanced knowledge of MS ExcelThe ability to work accurately and independentlyExcellent analytical skills and an eye for detailOutstanding leadership and managerial skillsStrong time and people management skillsAbility to work to strict deadlinesWilling to assign at Chino Roces Ave. Ext.
