PwC Acceleration Center Manila (hereinafter, the “Company” or the “Center” or “PwC AC Manila” or “AC Manila”) is a joint venture of PricewaterhouseCoopers (“PwC”) Firms from across the Asia Pacific. It was established to provide professional services to support PwC member Firms in the Asia Pacific, Americas, and European regions only, excluding clients registered and based in the Philippines.
PwC AC Manila is part of a network of PwC service delivery centres around the globe, known as the PwC Acceleration Centers and is staffed by specialised professionals connected through common methodologies, tools and metrics. This strategy is designed to ultimately increase value for our clients and our PwC member firms through improved productivity, enhanced quality and lower cost of delivery.
The Risk & Quality Assurance (R&Q) Analyst and Senior Analyst performs independent reviews of work requests in the nature of quality control and provides feedback in accordance with Service Delivery Center’s User Guide instructions.
The roles will combine elements of documenting and reporting the results of R&Q review, monitoring the feedback received from Project Management Office (PMO) and Engagement teams on a regular basis and providing timely updates to management. Likewise, the R&Q Analyst and Senior Analyst will participate in quality improvement programs and contribute heavily in areas related to continuous process improvement.
REPORTING: Both positions will report to the Risk and Quality Assurance Supervisor.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Educational Background:
● Analyst & Senior Analyst: Graduates of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
Years of Work Experience:
● Analyst: 1-2 years experience
● Senior Analyst: minimum of 3 years experience
Certification/s:
● Analyst & Senior Analyst: valid CPA licence is required
Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
Analyst & Senior Analyst:
● Experience in both external and internal auditing
● Audit background
● Experience with MS Office, PPT, Gsuite
● Alteryx & UI Path exposure is a plus
● Attention to details
● Critical thinking and Analysis
● Strong verbal and written communication skills
● working with lead client services partners, business leaders
● Ability to identify risks in business process
Senior Analysts:
● Strong independent decision-making ability and comfort with issue spotting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyst & Senior Analyst:
● Conduct R&Q review of work requests on a sampling basis and document adverse feedback received from Engagement Teams;
● Identify process improvements based on trends from previous R&Q reviews;
● Discuss issues found with the R&Q Leader on a regular to relay details to the respective departments of clients;
● Maintain and monitor databases for findings and samples gathered;
● Assist on providing / preparing data for R&Q reports.
Senior Analysts:
● Acts as a reviewer of all data gathered for reporting;
● Present reports or findings to the R&Q leaders or even stakeholders in the absence of line managers;
● Support leadership teams to develop and expand continuous monitoring processes to assess compliance with other regulatory standards and requirements.
