Job Summary: (In two or three sentences, summarize the duties and responsibilities of the position)
· Responsible for field and plant testing for QA and QC by using accepted methods to inspect, sample, test aggregates and other materials for the purpose of quality control and/or analysis and resolving problems in compliance with contract specifications and quality control tolerance
· Monitor and test process functions and materials to ensure products meet or exceed requirements
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Perform laboratory testing on samples of soil, aggregate base, cement concrete and other construction materials
2. Monitor daily temperature logs and breaking of samples and other test requirements
3. Assist in compliance of test requirements
4. Perform sampling and calibration works
5. Monitor test requirements and other tests as required
6. Provision of corrective actions in a timely manner
7. Ensure quality inspections of materials prior commencement of work
8. Support batching plant operation

In 2015, Tobias Josef Steiner, the son of the late Karl Josef took over the leadership of BetonBau Phil., Inc. As the younger version of his father and with a more determined mind set, he continued what was started by his father. By adapting, injecting new technology and implement best practices garnered from Germany and serve as continuous improvement to the company as well to impart to Philippines Construction Industry. Moreover, On looking forward to be recognized not only in local construction market but into Global exposure.
