Job description:

Prepares bill of quantities for a proposed project.Undertakes cost and price analysis.Canvass and updates cost of materials, equipment, labor, etc.Provides assistance to other department in compiling all the required documents needed for tender submittal.Maintains records or basis of estimates.Prepares all bid documents to be endorsed to the project management team once the project is successfully awarded.Assists the project engineering head and/or quantity surveyors for queries that may arise related to the quantity, materials considered and cost of the project.Performs other related job/duties as may be assigned by the management from time to time.document total materials needed, including detail regarding all codes, brands, and contact information necessary to process ordersKnowledge of standard purchasing procedures and contract management, and importation and customs preferredStrong negotiation, numerical, analytical, problem-solving, and verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and email software mandatory; experience with ERP software a plusMust be knowledgeable in accounts payable and accounts receivable.Self-disciplined and organized; able to consistently produce quality work with limited supervision

Qualifications

Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Architecture or Construction managementMust have at least two (3) years experience in the Quantity Surveying and Cost Estimating field/industry.Must be well versed in the use of the necessary computer software. (Planswift, blue beam, MS excel)Must be well versed in ASANAStrong and effective communication skills to deal with the management, builders (principal contractor) and clients.Can manage and work well under pressure to meet submission deadlines.Must have a high degree of professionalism, attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and must maintain a high standard of work ethics and strong sense of responsibility.Work closely with key members of the project team and liaising with clients and suppliersKnowledge of project management cycle, especially client proposal development and/or monitoring and reporting.Must be well versed in Manpower payment scheme per sqft.Has the ability to do Cost Matrix for installer and can create sales order using Asana
