Job Description

Job Summary:

The Category / Procurement Manager is responsible for managing the smooth operations of the department by overseeing the accuracy and time-bound communication, and processing of requested materials with the supplier while ensuring all procedures and guidelines are followed and complied with.

Process Improvement:

• Develop, implement and monitor realistic procurement and inventory planning techniques and key performance indicators in accordance with the division's objective and other established guidelines or programs.

• Develop specific policies and translate them into suitable programs and projects and provide overall directions and strategies for procurement based on the corporate goals, directions, and priorities.

Procurement Management:

• Oversee the communication of the team with the suppliers of fixed assets and supplies for the new malls.

• Monitor the accurate and timely preparation, coordination, and processing of the purchase orders in accordance with the established process and procedures of the division.

• Attend appointments, meetings, and branch visits with the team or other personnel.

• Develop procurement and vendor enrollment policies and procedures, as well as department programs and activities, to ensure relevance and conformance with best practices and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory policies.

• Oversee the processing and handling of the issuance of company cellphones to all entitled employees.

• Review the preparation of purchase orders for category assigned.

• Manage the correct and timely delivery and recording of purchased uniforms, office supplies, and fixed assets.

• Manages the purchasing of materials, supplies, and equipment and makes sure that such are conducted in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures

• Review the physical inventory conducted according to the standard and schedule set by the management.

• Ensure the proper implementation of standards, guidelines, and processes of the procurement function including supplier accreditation, and others.

Educational Requirements:

Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or any related field.
