Job Overview
As Lamination Operator you will be responsible for to running the laminator in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner. In this role you will work with a close team of other operators, assistants and service staff to ensure these goals are met.
Your specific requirements of the role are :
To be technically knowledgeable in the complete functions / operations of the Machine/s under your charge. Must have the capabilities of trouble shooting lamination problems. Must have the ability to undertake a complete "make-ready" / set up of the machine involved. Must produce a quality product which meets the Customer requirementsThe understanding of adhesives and solvent.The co
ntrol of adhesive viscosity and mixingThe understanding of film properties and its behavior in the LaminatorEnsuring correct output and recording of daily recordsTo provide proper "On the Job" Training and guidance for any other co-workers.Assisting in the maintenance of the machines under your charge and reporting all issues.The proper utilization and safe keeping of all tools and machineryThe proper transfer of duties at the time of "Shift Change"The cleanliness of the machine and area The cleaning, washing, storing, and assembly of Laminating Carts , World Mixer, Treater, solvent and adhesive hoses, doctor blade assembly. Operation of machine panel, controls, recorder, viscosity controller, solvent and adhesive line supply, heater, chiller, unwinder, rewinder, and other control/operation panel of the machineAssembly of Doctor Blade, Splash guards, Laminating cylinders, and other parts.The use and upkeep of the curing room, ensuring curing time and loading of rolls are strictly followed.Ensure cleanliness of all machine panels, f
rame, rollers, dryer hoods, idler roller, floors, ducting /piping, and other parts of machine every shift.The proper segregation and disposal of lamination, liquid, and hazardous wastes.Mixing of adhesives, and coating determination.
Qualifications and Requirements
Candidate must possess at least Vocatio
nal Diploma/Short Course Certificate in any field.At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.With 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.Experience in a printing and co
