Job Description

Job Summary:

Provides both day-to-day management and strategic direction across different functions such as Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain. Aside from their own duties, this person will also oversee 4 analysts based in the Philippines that collectively provide crucial insight and data flow for the region. The position will hold the collective brain trust of the senior leadership team and is expected to work as a thought partner for the head of the region. The role is also a key liaison between the North American group, the Philippine operations group (Head Office and Plant), and teams from other regional markets.

Essential Duties:

Financial Planning and Analysis

Responsible for financial and commercial reporting/analytics for North American entities. Duties include Financial Statements Analyses, Monthly Business Reports, Scenario Analyses, Forecasting/Budgeting, and Investment Analyses.Delivers periodic presentations to the North American senior leadership team and the enterprise executive committeeParticipates in the budget planning and strategic planning of the groupLiaises with functional teams across the entire group to consolidate data and information. These include Accounting, Technical, Marketing & Sales, Operations, other markets, etc.Oversees 2 financial analysts assigned to different business entities.

Commercial and Ad-Hoc Analysis

Partners with the Director of Sales & Operations to create agile recommendations for business development efforts. This includes Pricing and Margin Analysis, Customer Profitability, Sales and Trade Programming, and Customer Communications.Re-packages complex issues or growth initiatives into simple data-backed models that elevate the quality of decision-making for the senior team. Key deliverables include Weekly Sales Dashboards, Monthly Sales Reports, and maintaining an up-to-date Sales Forecast per Customer Account.Develops a deep understanding of the market and maintains databases on Competitive Intelligence.Coordinates with the product development and production teams of the Philippine plant to ensure that projects, initiatives, and customer requests are followed through.

Procurement, Logistics, and Inventory Coordination

Establishes and maintains relationships with logistics partners, whether in-house or third-party, to ensure that customer orders are delivered on time, in the most cost-effective mannerRecommends the best freight options from available networks, which include Ocean Shipping, Inland Trucking, and Warehousing.Responsible for maintaining inventory targets per SKU by signing off on new production orders as well as purchase orders from third-party vendors.Oversees 2 supply chain analysts responsible for Procurement, Logistics, and Inventory Planning

Qualifications:

BS in Business Administration, Management Engineering, or other Management-related courses.At least 5 years of cumulative experience in financial or commercial analysis, management consulting, investment banking, corporate planning, strategic management, or other related fieldsStrong understanding of finance and accounting principles; able to mentor others on practical applications of theoryPrevious experience in financial and data modeling, with expert command of Microsoft Excel, and basic knowledge of Power BI or other dashboarding toolsExcellent story-telling ability and is able to communicate complex ideas into clear and understandable points of discussionHigh degree of ownership - Demonstrated ability to take initiative and to be proactive in identifying issues and recommending solutionsResults-Driven – Proven track record of achieving set targetsEntrepreneurial Spirit – Understands the overall business and works smartly to achieve goalsIndustry experience in manufacturing, consumer goods, and/or automotive partsPrevious experience in people managementExperience working in an ERP integrated planning & scheduling environment, specifically SAP HANA
