External Manufacturing Engineer (Senior level)

Responsibilities

Act as first point of contact for external manufacturing subcons in terms of Engineering related issues.Work with external manufacturing sites to align changes in attributes within MBOI systemMonitor single strand machine and develop contingency plan to mitigate risk in the loss of production output.Minimize lagging lots in the production floor due to Engineering / Quality issues by prompt disposition and follow up with respective owners.Lead minor and intermediate change in external manufacturing subcons.Support customer’s audits, MEA and process audits. Carry out Walk-the-Line in critical external sites.Drive total yield improvementDrive reduction of MPE occurrencesMonitor and drive CPK improvement in critical process to reduce variations and increase process robustnessDrive Value Engineering activities in external manufacturing sites with support from Process Engineers and Test EngineersDrive automation to minimize low tech issues and maximize consistency in quality.Drive consigned machines’ efficiency to reduce CoO and optimize output.prompt recertification of expired direct material to achieve cost avoidance.Lead consolidation of the SRS review for all subcons twice per year.Host regular meetings with external manufacturing sites and internal stakeholders to resolve Operation challenges

Requirements

Graduate of BS EngineeringWith at least 8 years experience in semiconductor manufacturing assembly and testSeasoned Engineer, having a deep understanding and knowledge on Semiconductor assembly, test operations, and process.Trained in Lean Six Sigma and with accomplished projects. Certified LSSBB will be an edgeDemonstrate high level of troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsDemonstrate influencing skills in driving change and improvement activitiesPossess good English communication skills and presentation Skill
