Job Description· Review and monitoring of breaks daily to ensure everything is in order and breaks are commented and followed-up· Act as a back-up when any associate or specialist is on leave· Responsible to review process documentations and update the same regularly as a reference for associates and specialist· Monitor progress of associates and coach them in all areas· On a monthly basis this position will entail NAV calculations, production of month end sign off packages including NAV, review of the financials statement and preparation of investor statements· Lead process reviews to ensure the team is not just improving on its efficiencies but making sure we the team is doing the right things to achieve its goals· Any Adhoc request by Client related and support the business needsRequirements· The candidate should have a clear understanding of general fund accounting principles including management and performance fee calculations, master and feeder fund structures, P&L allocations, and performance returns· The ideal candidate should have a clear understanding of financial products including global equities, futures, swaps, options, FX, OTC derivatives, and fixed income· Excellent English, oral and written, communication skills· High attention to detail· Can work with minimal supervision and deliver high quality output· Must be a good leader/mentor to the group with skills in goal setting, coaching and giving timely feedback· Must be proactive, self-motivated, innovative, a team player and fully understand the client’s Portfolio Operations team objectives· Proficient in the use of Excel and Geneva· Ability to use Microsoft SQL is an advantage Education and Experience· Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Financial Management,· Economics, Accounting or other related business course· Proven ability to manage small teams to achieve challenging goals· At least 5-year experience from a multinational company or a banking-related work would be an advantage
