Category Support provides Macquarie’s global Sourcing team with category support across a range of Procurement activities and to Sourcing teams in ANZ, Asia and EMEA. This work is largely driven by global category managers located in Sydney, and to regional teams in Hong Kong and London, as well as stakeholders throughout Macquarie Group globally.
Activities include conducting Sourcing events for new and renewal requirements for technology and non-technology categories, spend analysis, participation in, or leadership of, key projects within the Group Procurement team.
As part of the global Procurement team, you will be responsible for:
· Running sourcing projects and delivering maximum value from these projects for your stakeholders and therefore for Macquarie.
· Working closely with Global category leads, and sometimes at their direction, to delivery major category strategy initiatives
· Working closely with Service Owners in delivering key business initiatives
Delivery and project management of tenders & commercial negotiations for high value projects or high risk services, aligning with global strategies and working closely with Global Category Leads and Service OwnersDeploying process automation initiatives for stakeholder benefits, e.g. Service Now and Coupa Co
