SUMMARY:
The Facilities Technician must be able to fix things. He will handle building and equipment maintenance based on a schedule or need, aid in testing building security systems (FDAS, Smoke Detectors, Sprinklers, CCTV) and manage general facility maintenance activities. He is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g., electrical, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, civil works) as well as other tasks, as assigned.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

nitor day to day facility checks.Co
nduct routine inspection and miscellaneous assessments regarding preventive maintenance, malfunctions and needed repairs.Coordinate with co
ntractors and dormitory tenants regarding work-related co
ncerns within the unit.Coordinate with the Security Department regarding Building Security and site emergency response.Perform minor electrical maintenance including but not limited to; replacement or repair of fixtures using the appropriate hand, power, and specialty tools. Perform minor plumbing maintenance including but not limited to; replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets or unclogging of drains, toilet bowls and pipeline.Perform minor painting and carpentry work such as but not limited to; paint touch-ups, as well as fitting or adjusting locks and handles, fixing doors and hinges.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
Completed Technical/Vocatio
nal courses relative to building maintenance (Industrial, Electrician, HVAC, Electro-mechanics).Preferably PRC license holder of either Registered Master Electrician (RME), Certified Plant Mechanic (CPM), Master Plumber (MP)
EXPERIENCE:
At least 5 years of working experience in a building facility maintenance enviro
nment in a condominium/dormitory setting.Must be well experienced in Electrical works.Preferably with background in POC and BOSH
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
Full understanding of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry works.Results-driven, autonomous, independent, and self-directed.Excellent oral and written Filipino/English communication skills.Ability to use common tools (facility-related work tools).Ability to work with minimal supervision
