Job Description

RESTAURANT MANAGERS

We are looking for Restaurant Managers to lead all aspects of our business. Restaurant Managers deliver a high-quality menu and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include maintaining the restaurant’s revenue, profitability and quality goals. They ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need management skills and experience in both front and back of the house. We want you to know how to oversee the dining room, check-in with customers and balance seating capacity. Back of the house management experience is also essential, as you’ll hire qualified Cooks and Wait Staff, set work schedules, oversee food preparation and make sure we comply with health and safety restaurant regulations.

We’ll expect you to lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you will ensure our restaurant runs smoothly and customers have pleasant dining experiences.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Coordinates daily front of the house and back of the house restaurant operations

· Delivers superior service and maximize customer satisfaction

· Responds efficiently and accurately to customer complaints

· Regularly reviews product quality and research new vendors

· Organizes and supervises shifts

· Appraises staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity

· Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products

· Ensures compliance with sanitation and safety regulations

· Manages restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it

· Controls operational costs and identify measures to cut waste

· Creates detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses

· Promotes the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events

· Recommends ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads)

· Trains new and current employees on proper customer service practices

· Implements policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations

QUALIFICATIONS

· Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role

· Proven customer service experience as a manager

· Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with the ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff

· Familiarity with restaurant management software, like OpenTable and PeachWorks

· Strong leadership, motivational and people skills

· Acute financial management skills

· BSc degree in Business Administration; hospitality management or culinary schooling is a plus

FOOD SERVERS

We are looking for competent Food Servers to take and deliver orders. You’ll be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences.

Responsibilities include ensuring our tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus and serving food and beverages. You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude. If you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we’d like to meet you.

Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Prepares restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order

· Attends to customers upon entrance

· Presents restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages

· Takes and serves orders

· Answers questions or make recommendations for complementary products

· Collaborates with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff

· Deals with complaints or problems with a positive attitude

· Issues bills and accept payment

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Has a bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or equivalent.

-Proven experience in a hotel or restaurant setting

· Hands-on experience in cashier duties

· Attention to cleanliness and safety

· Patience and customer-oriented approach

· Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude

· Responsible and trustworthy

LINE COOKS

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Understands and utilizes food safety guidelines.

-Willing to work on extended hours and/or shifting assignments.

-Highly organized, systematic, flexible and can work under pressure

-Knowledgeable on inventory and tracking methods

-Is healthy and free of Illnesses

-Must enjoy working with the being part of a family-team that practices unity and camaraderie

-Must practice the value of Humility, Simplicity and Diligence

-Must have the desire to build a steady a long-term career, as well as the ambition to be promoted to higher positions.

-Sets up mis-en-place station for the various meal periods according to performance standards

QUALIFICATIONS:

-Preferably a Graduate of culinary course, or equivalent

-With at least 1-2 years work experience in the hot and / or cold kitchen.

-Preferably has experience in Italian and Western cuisine (pastas, pizzas, salads, sandwiches, etc.)
