Job Summary
Supports general business operations by providing various administrative support with focus on global technology support, software knowledge and a combination of disciplines in the Administrative Services Function. Identifies the problem and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assesses each using standard procedures and makes sound decisions. This position will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a well-defined file structure that supports the RX Global Technology Operations. This position works closely with business stakeholders and procurement administrators as well as regional procurement leads to locate specific agreements that can be leveraged across local, national and global entities. The Services Purchasing Coordinator III identifies process improvements to drive efficient, effective procurement operations relative to the centralized contract database to support business needs while ensuring contractual risks are managed. The Services Purchasing Coordinator III also serves as an ambassador to the business ensuring procurement and contract retention policies, processes, and best practices are understood and supported.
Key responsibilities
▪ Responsible for directing the operational day to day activity, planning projects, prioritising workload, delegation for 1 x (RXPH) Procurement Analyst.
▪ Contribute to the definition of the roadmap for Procurement and participate in its implementation.
▪ Manage the Procurement process by providing guidance, advice, best practice definition, offering day-to-day support for end users and assure that quality products are provisioned at competitive prices in a timely fashion.
▪ Establish and manage Suppliers throughout the Supplier Management Lifecycle liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
▪ Implement the Contracts Management needs for Global Technology UK, in close liaison with the relevant Legal departments and RELX Global Procurement.
▪ Manage the commercial aspects of Global Technology UK Contractor- and 3rd Party Resources, liaising with Recruitment Agencies and Hiring Managers, ensuring best practice and mandates dictated by the RELX Group are applied consistently.
▪ Maintain the Procurement document repository that facilitates Procurement activities, hosts processes and announcements, using lists and workflows to maintain updates to that information.
▪ Create and maintain documentation for Key Responsibilities in line with requirements.
▪ Facilitate user training and stakeholder workshops including the preparation of materials to do so.
▪ Lead from the front to drive maturity in all elements listed under Key Responsibilities, applying best practice according to current market standards and ensure that changes effected are communicated to all stakeholders.
▪ Contribute to audits as they relate to Global Technology UK Procurement Management and Resources.
▪ Support the business accounting elements of the Procurement function.
▪ Direct/execute essential best practice regarding the purchase of technology products and/or suppliers of technology.
▪ Perform internal audits (remote spot checks) of BU processes to monitor adoption; host process- and document management reviews to assure all-party engagement compliance.
▪ Advise and influence outcomes so that internal and external customers - including RELX Global Procurement and cross geography Business Units - engage Global Technology UK Procurement from the outset of every project, irrespective of origin; to ensure compliance with the Global Technology UK Procurement’s Vendor Onboarding- and Supplier Lifecycle Management processes (only, as opposed to all BUs engaging G. Tech UK Procurement for new contract hires also).

Technical Skills
▪ Proven record of 5+ years Procurement Management in a Technology environment.
▪ Competent in the application of MSOffice Suite, SharePoint, ServiceNow, Confluence and JIRA.
▪ Bachelors degree
