Job Description

The OPEX Manager will ensure that the organization will operate efficiently and effectively. The position plays a vital role in partnering with the Leadership Team and the rest of the organization to achieve operational excellence, excellent customer service, and achievement of KPIs.

The position will support the Management Team of Nordic Medical Clinic to achieve its goal of providing holistic health care to seafarers through operational excellence, quality assurance, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities and role(s)

Operational Excellence

Developing and implementing new processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency and customer serviceAnalyzing data to identify operational trends and opportunities for improvementCoordinating with other departments within the organization to ensure successful implementation of initiativesLeading projects aimed at improving operational efficiencyPreparing reports on operational performance, including benchmarks against industry standards or best practicesMotivating employees to improve performance by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation

Quality Management

Develops and implements quality assurance policies and proceduresConducts internal and 3rd party audits and inspections and identifies process or service issues to be addressedCreates documentation of procedures and policies and make the necessary updates as neededTrains employees and ensures compliance of the established health, safety, environment and, quality standards and processes of the company

Project Management

Act as the lead and main point of contact of the approved projects and initiatives for the CompanyMonitor, track and report on the status of project deliverables to ensure time, cost and quality metrics are in line with approved project plans for the clinicManage and facilitate flow of essential information among the project team members and rest of the organization

 Management Support

Delivers management presentations and communication materials to be used internally and externallyWorks closely with the Management Team and Group Business Development Team in delivering marketing materials for the companyDelivers key performance results report based on the established goals and objectives of the companySupport the management team to ensure HR and Finance procedures and programs are cascaded and observed

Required Competencies

Bachelor's degree in business management or in a related fieldAt least 3 years of experience in business process management and project managementDemonstrable expertise, knowledge and application of driving sustainable changeExperience in developing and designing documents including training manuals, process outlines, flowcharts and implementation proceduresWith proven experience in gathering and analyzing statistical data and generating reports and presentationExceptional collaboration, critical thinking and communication skillsAble to work with, challenge and support all levels in the organizationA high level of responsibility and initiativeExcellent knowledge of MS Office and office management softwareProfessional certification, such as Project Management, Six Sigma or ISO9001:2015 Lead Auditor/ Internal Auditor is an advantage
