Job description

The Woodworking Production Supervisor is responsible in providing assistance to Woodworking Production Manager and overseeing the production processes and ensuring the final product meets quality standards and customer specifications. The Production Supervisor directs process heads to ensure smooth flow of operation in their assigned area and helps in ensuring production quotas are met and items are delivered on-time.

Production and Warehouse Management

Assists the Production Manager with the day to day tasks including monitoring of employee performance, cleanliness and safety of the area, monitoring production output, maintaining the machinery and equipment of the department, and quality of the finished product.Coordinates with Production Manager to follow up Purchasing Department or Raw Materials Warehouse regarding stock performance, inventory levels and needed raw materialsChecks and ensures accuracy of inventory through regular updating of recordsHelps in ensuring that customers’ needs and expectations are met or exceeded and final product meet the quality standards.Checks and monitors the stocks in storage area regularly to avoid stock out and overstocking.Ensures the quality of the raw materials received from the supplier and any defects must be reported to the production manager.Provides Stock transfer order from SAP to the process head in-charge to ready the items for distribution.Ensures all finished items are transacted properly with Goods Receipt in SAPMakes sure that the transactions and item movements in SAP are encoded properly.
