WHAT THIS POSITION IS about - PURPOSE
Storekeeper - is responsible for operation function and the actual point of contact for Production, Warehouse Operation, with coordination to Inbound & Outbound. Ensuring actual stock accuracy and reconciliation with SAP / MOM / other business applications. Performing regular & periodic stock checks, SAP / MOM postings analysis, and proper materials flow between production and warehouses. Closely coordinates with the Production, Planning, and Analyst Team in any concerns. Investigates variances as well as explain all issues with other departments involved in the process. Additionally, focuses on checking timely material transfers within warehouses in line with FIFO and FEFO for batch management principles and monitoring on-time all material movements to ensure stock accuracy (all movements according to the plan in SAP and MOM).
The incumbent is also responsible for ensuring that the warehouse is properly maintained in accordance with IICI standards, 5S3R, and complying with government regulations. Responsible also for proper coordination and ensuring that the company’s inventory is up to date and sufficient to create any report on demand. Such a person will be dedicated to all SAP / MOM-related projects for data preparation, testing performance, and final key user training.
WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and direct teams of NTM/FG Forklift Drivers with regards to their daily tasks assignments a. Act as an in-charge in the absence of their Shift Leads b. Initiates in accomplishing other shop floor activities and concerns. c. Delegate and assign tasks according to priority d. Plan and allocate work schedules for the day activities e. Cascade any Health and Safety related issues to their colleagues f. Check with MOM support for any concerns and issues encountered. g. Performs daily Toolbox Meeting h. Performs minor decisions within their controls
Coordination with other Groups: PRODUCTION i. Coordinate with Production regarding actual production run schedules ii. Checks and communicate material availability based on Production Orders, schedules, and delivery iii. Communicate any issues arising from Production Orders, and MOM concerns to the work center, that involves the Production Team.
QUALITY i. Communicate any infestation-related issues that concern NTM/FG supplies. ii. Coordinate and execute any quality-related issue, instructions, or requirements that are related to quality
PLANNING AND CUSTOMER SERVICE i. Coordinate with Planning regarding production run schedules, production changes, and priorities. ii. Communicate Production Orders based on material availability, expiration, and quality status. iii. Communicate FG/SFG availability for Export for pull-out from production. iv. Coordinate with the Planning team for any materials with quality issues feedback by the Production.
EXTERNAL WAREHOUSE & 3rd PARTY SERVICE PROVIDER i. Communicate material requirements and availability based on Production Order ii. Coordinate transfers delivery schedules based on production run schedule and priority
OPERATIonAL FUNCTIONS a. Ensure to check 100 % booking transfer error of returns b. Register all insufficient materials to monitor and validate the stocks c. Regularly send the insufficient report to Prod analyst for necessary stock adjustment d. On-time pullout of insufficient stocks in SAP once adjusted e. Monitor and Control Lost & Founds – ensure that all L&Fs are to be settled within the shift f. Monitor stock type/batch status change documents as well as special instructions from other departments g. No MP lines delays in operation due to lack of / wrong NTMs dispatch h. Real-time and correct transaction i. Ensure all physical/SAP movements are reflected in MOM (no delays) j. 100% Stock accuracy - MOM vs. Actual vs. SAP stock is tally - (stock reconciliation tool in use – send recon daily k. Ensure that any issues with MOM will be reported. l. Regularly assign an FLD personnel to do the MOM FG stock count of High rack storage m. Able to support other warehouse processes such as inbound, Tax Stamps, and Spare Parts n. Leads the NTM inventory and reconciliations
People management Recruit, motivate, and guide the professional development of the team reporting directly and indirectly to the incumbent.
Perform additional tasks of MS management in order to fulfill department objectives and priorities. Ensure compliance with JTI and local CoC and CoD, policies and procedures, and Safety requirements. Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon the manager’s request.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR – REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of any College degreeMinimum 3 years of experience in warehousing & logistics areaFluent command of English, both written and spoken Computer skills (MS Windows & MS Office, preferably advanced MS Powerpoint / Excel skills) SAP / WMS Systems knowledge will be an advantage.
