Role Summary
The Director for Procurement is responsible for developing a strategic approach to the corporate procurement and material management process for the purchase of direct and indirect goods and services, and promote compliance internally with standards and procedures.

· Develops a centralized procurement program that will add value and efficiency to the organization· Creates policies and procedures for efficiently, honestly, eco
nomically and productively purchasing goods and services· Directs the procurement of goods and services· Oversees co
ntract development and administration· Monitors, reviews and analyzes bids and quotes with suppliers, including the negotiation of service agreements and contracts· Maintains knowledge of the market, and in addition to current prices and fair rates for goods, keeps abreast of innovation and industry trends for a co
ntinually progressive supply chain· Serves as the primary co
ntact for procurement related questions, training, policy and procedure interpretation and alignment by all departments· Assists the Procurement team members with procurement processes, change and updates other procurement-related activities;· Develops and updates procurement policies and procedures· Supports Cost Co
ntrol in the co
nduct of periodic joint market survey with Executive Chef, F&B Manager· Manage vendor accreditation and corroborate vendor compliance with food safety and handling requirements of the properties· Create synergy with Robinsons Land, Robinsons Hotels and Resorts, and JG Summit co
nglomerate by maximizing vendor data ba
se and aligning process
Maintain formal business relationship and good will with vendor partners through established timely payments
