Job Description

Job Summary

This position is responsible to support procurement operations in the Philippines for the Cebu site.

Responsibilities

Manage RFXs, and contract renewals. Negotiate with suppliers and strike a balance between cost savings and supplier relationships. Drive cost-saving programs at both country and regional levels without compromising on controls and delivery. Ensure all expenditure is covered by robust contracts.  Strengthen business relationships with Internal stakeholders and key suppliers. Functionally accountable for sourcing, selection, and onboarding of new vendors. Work with internal cross-functional teams to understand the requirements and develop procurement plans to support; Provide market insight to business and stakeholders.Standardize procurement practices across business lines, countries, and regions. Build a stakeholder engagement plan to support procurement strategy.  Drive innovation & value add in both Sourcing & Procurement.  Monthly reporting on procurement spending, vendors, trends, and cost optimization opportunities. Should have good communication skills both written and verbal.

Area of expertise (Skills)

With at least 3 years of relevant experience in procurement/purchasingHas intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelMust be a BS degree holder in any fieldAn established connection with vendors is a plus Experience in SAP is a plus

Experience in handling procurement requests, customer management, and vendor management.Excellent excel and writing skills.Proven presentation, communication and influencing skills with leadership. Experience in data analysis, compliance, and audits.Good problem-solving skills.  Organization and coordination Able to work under pressure
