PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Equipment Coordinator is responsible for the efficient and effective assignment of site requests and communications. He ensures that all related equipment requirements needed on site are delivered in a timely manner and in good working condition.
TECHNICAL
a. Coordinates to the Equipment Supervisor in relation to the deployment of mechanics to any sites that needs repair/PMS.
b. Regularly communicates to project sites and check the status of tools and equipment.
c. Endorse schedules of repair and maintenance of light and heavy equipment to Equipment Supervisor
d. Monitoring of equipment that is engaged in construction operation.
e. Requisition and purchasing of equipment parts needed for repair and spare parts stocks.
f. Coordinates with Equipment Supervisor for mobilization of equipment at Project sites.
g. Coordinates with Equipment Supervisor regarding implementation of equipment preventive maintenance.
h. Weekly report of Equipment Utilization.
i. Conduct equipment assessment and estimate the repair cost.
j. Requisition of parts and materials for corrective and plan repair.
k. Daily update of equipment Service Meter Reading.
l. Monitor and update equipment repair status.
m. Conduct equipment check-ups on site.
CANVASSING
1. Canvassing of spare parts and consumables including machining of parts for equipment for a
minimum of three (3) suppliers.
2. Submit canvass sheet (format already given) to the equipment head for finalization prior to
submission to the Purchasing Department.
3. Pick up purchased parts by the Purchasing Department and have it checked according to
specifications or sample.
