Role Profile

The Product Development Specialist shall own the following processes: 

Gathering customer and market insights through direct interaction with customer technical teamsExecuting the rapid prototyping process, that is converting leads to new products up to commercializationWorking with customers in developing differentiated product specifications and co-creating the new productsCollaborating with technology partners in developing differentiated product capabilitiesConducting product benchmarking with competitors and executing experiments to develop differentiated product capabilitiesExecuting other product development initiatives aligned with business strategic directionReports to the Product Development Manager

Disciplined and speed biased. High entrepreneurial attributes, Growth mindset, fast learner of new technologiesKnowledge-based skills:  knowledgeable in transformer application, knowledge of Power systems operation, Working knowledge of electrical equipment design and development, product standards, project management, results oriented, digital savvy. Proficient in design software like Ansys, Solid works or equivalentGraduate of Electrical Engineering; Professional License an advantage. Masters degree an advantageWith at least 1 year relevant experience in Development of Electrical Products
